Process

Fahkwang is the main font and Kanit is the font of the slogan.

I wanted the typefaces to be fun but also for the typeface to have luxury under tone to make the product look more fancy.

Color Palette

I wanted to use only one accent color that was vibrant to not make the logotype seem overwhelming for the audience.

The wordmark in the Fahkwang font without the yellow. This is also what the wordmark would look like in black and white.

I wanted to show the audience that the typeface is still usable for products that are enabled to use colors other then black and white.

I wanted the logo to include a backpack to inform the audience that SupaCool is only a backpack brand and doesn’t make other times of products. I wanted the word Cool to be in a different color to convey a form of individuality when compared to other backpack brands. I also want the words in the slogan to start with the letter S to make the slogan flow smoother together and to be easier for the audience to remember.

College Class Project, Graphic Design 4, Fall 2023

In this class project we were to find a brand on Amazon that didn’t have much or any brand identity. And then we were to design logo/brand identity for the business we find.

I decision on a business called SupaCool that made a type of backpack. I wanted to enhance the knowledge that SupaCool makes backpacks so I made the icon for the brand a backpack with a large S on the front. I also decisioned to make the word cool a different color to give this idea that owing this backpack would “cool”.
